Study Abroad
One of the greatest opportunities in my college career was during the spring semester of my junior year, when I was able to study abroad in London. Our coursework pushed me to notice how society, aesthetics, and identity show up in the spaces we move through. And because our entire program was filled with Media Arts & Design students, every moment turned into a creative project. We journaled, took photos of everything, and filmed our lives like we were making our own documentary.
Paris, Scotland, Bath, Copenhagen, Nice, Barcelona, Dublin, Malta, Belgium, Amsterdam, Berlin, Switzerland. Each city taught me something different: how to slow down, how to be resilient, and how to find joy in the unfamiliar. Study abroad taught me independence, adaptability, and how to look at the world with curiosity instead of fear. I came home more creative, more grounded, and way more inspired.
